Under the support of Japan Internal Cooperation Agency (JICA), the project for Establishing Business-Oriented Agricultural Cooperative Models (BPAC), implemented by Department of Agricultural Cooperative Promotion (DACP) of General Directorate of Agriculture (GDA), organized Workshop on Business Plan of Pilot Business on 31st August 2016 at the meeting hall of GDA.
This workshop was presided by Dr. MAK Soeun, Acting Director General of GDA, Mr. Chea Saintdona, Director of DACP, Ms. Okamura KANEKO, JICA Representative, Mr. Masahiro MATSUDA, BPAC Chief Advisor, and Mr. Shinsuke ASAMIZU, BPAC Coordinator. The participants were seven ACs from the four target provinces such as Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, Takeo, and Svay Rieng and government officials from four target Provincial Department of Agriculture (PDA).
The purpose of this workshop is to mainly provide a training regarding the creation of business plan for their pilot businessto to seven pilot agricultural cooperatives (AC) which were selected from 180 target ACs in the four target provinces.
After the workshop, those pilot ACs learn well about business plan and would be able make their own business plan to submit to BPAC project to evaluate their business plan whether it needs revising or not, then Third Joint Coordination Committee (3rd JCC) Meeting will make approval on the business plan made by pilot ACs.
